Ipswich Little Athletics Centre promotes an active and healthy lifestyle within a safe and fun environment to unite families and the community within the LAQ mission of ‘FAMILY, FUN & FITNESS’. We strive to support, educate and to encourage athletes of all abilities.
Competition nights are held on a Friday night at Bill Patterson Oval, Lion St Ipswich. The Under 6-8 age group commence at 5pm and the Under 9-17 age group commence at 6pm.
Our Little Athletics Centre is run by a team of dedicated VOLUNTEERS who are assisted during competitions by dedicated Age Marshalls who ensure the smooth running of their events within the age group. It is absolutely essential that parents participate in assisting Age Marshalls so events can run to time and enhance the experience of the athlete.
