Results & Awards
           End of Season Trophy Awards  

Our season is from September to April. At the end of each season, a Trophy Presentation is held to which all registered children and their parents are invited. All children with a satisfactory attendance record throughtout the season will receive a medallion.
An individual results sheet is kept for each athlete by the Centre Recorders. Each improvement earns one point and the new performance becomes your new standard to better next time. The girl and boy U7 to U10 with the highest number of improvement points is awarded the Junior Centre Achievement Trophy. Similarly the girl and boy U11 to U15 is awarded the Senior Centre Achievement Trophy, and the most points scored in each age group becomes the Most Improved Girl and Boy. The recipients of the Centre Achievement Awards are automatically eliminated from selection for the Most Improved Trophy in each age group.

Achievement Awards sponsored by McDonalds. Achievement Award cards are issued to every athlete to encourage improvement - the aim of Little Athletics.

 Check the performance levels (Blue, Red, Green) of each event by checking the performance on the back of the card with the performance on the tickets.
 Initial or tick the corresponding circle in the event levels column on the front of the card.
 Return the card to the office for the recorders to collect and add colour dots to the card after the 5th competition night and whenever an athlete achieves a new level.
 A McDonalds voucher will be issued when three group awards of the same level are achieved.
 Collect card from age marshall basket the week following.
 A maximum of three vouchers per athlete per season is allowed.

Recording:  Performances from all Centre Competitions and Ipswich Centre Australia Day Carnival are recorded for all competing age groups and count for the various awards on Presentation.  Performances at QLAA events are not recorded within the centre.

Attendance Certificates:  A certificate is awarded to athletes with 100% attendance and 100% participation in every event for the season.  This award is to encourage athletes to participate in every event regardless of ability.

Medallions:  Medallions are based on the McDonalds Award levels.
