ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>PRESENTATION DAY</U></B></div> <bR> <div> This year, the Ipswich Little Athletics Club will hold its annual presenation day at Bill Patterson Oval on Saturday 29 March 2003 commencing at 1.00 pm with a free sausage sizzle.</div> <bR> <div> Presentations will commence at approximately 2.00 pm and following the presentations the children can enjoy themselves on the free rides.  The rides will be a giant slide, a worm fun factory and a merry-go-round.  Other attractions on the day will be a DJ and face painting.  All athletes from every age group will receive an award on this day.</div> <bR> <div> The only canteen facilities provided on the day will be the sale of drinks.  Adults drinks will also be available at very reasonable prices.</div> <bR> <div> See you all there and don't forget to BYO chairs and shade.</div> <bR> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING</U></B></div> <bR> <div> The A.G.M. will be held on Tuesday 29 April 2003 atarting at 7.00 pm.  This meeting is open to everyone.  The committee will table their reports for the 2002/2003 season and the new committee will be elected.</div> <bR> <div> Please mark this date in your diary and come along and assist in the running of your club.</div> <bR> <bR> <DIV ALIGN="LEFT"></DIV> <div> <B><U>AUSTRALIAN LITTLE ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS</U></B></div> <bR> <div> The Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALACs) are an annual event that brings together the Under 13 atheltes from each state and territory.  ALACs will be held on Saturday 26 April 2003 at the International Athletics Centre, Griffith University, Gold Coast, commencing at 8.45 am with the Opening March Past.  This will be followed by a day of athletic competition in all field and track events.</div> <bR> <div> Many of our Centre Officials have been selected to officiate in the days events.  </div> <bR> <div> <IMG SRC="26c22220.gif" border=0 width="34" height="34" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"> If any parents are considering going to the Gold Coast to watch these Championships, vacancies exist for timekeepers for the day.  If you would like to volunteer your services, make our Australia Day Carnival the big success it was, a huge Thank-You.  We have had a lot of positive feedback about the day and how expertly it was run.</div> <bR> <div> <B><U>Fundraising:</U></B> Thank-You to everyone who helped support the different fundraising events over the season.  We raised approximately $2,000 to help with the costs of the Townsville trip.  I'm sure all those athletes and their families appreciate all the work and effort that went into these events.  Thank-You for all your support once again.</div> <bR> <div> <B><U>Big Thank You:</U></B> A last big thank you to all the parents, athletes, families and friends who helped out over the last season.  Without your continued support, the Ipswich Little Athletics Centre wouldn't be the success it is today.</div> <bR> border=0 width="60" height="59" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></U></B></div> <bR> <div> Ipswich has 44 athletes competing at State Championships to be held in Townsville on the 21,22 and 23 March 2003. </div> <bR> <div> Congratulations to all those athletes for qualifying and to all the athletes that competed at Zone Intercentre Games at Goodna.  We would like to wish everyone competing
